A wildfire burning northwest of Fort Collins led to mandatory and voluntary evacuation orders on Tuesday afternoon, as reported by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
Poudre Fire Authority teams are currently battling a second-alarm wildfire near Laporte, specifically in the 4300 block of West County Road 54G, according to their social media updates.
The sheriff’s office has enforced mandatory evacuations for the affected area and has also issued voluntary evacuations between Laporte and the Cache La Poudre River, spanning from Rawhide Drive to the U.S. 287 bypass.
Individuals under voluntary evacuations are advised to gather essential items and prepare to evacuate, as per the sheriff’s office.
