Thunes, a Singapore-based company, has recently launched Thunes Business Payments, a cutting-edge cross-border payment solution tailored to elevate the payment experience for its Direct Global Network members. This network comprises a diverse array of financial institutions and businesses, ranging from enterprises and merchants to neo-banks, traditional banks, and mobile wallets.

By leveraging Thunes’ API, members can now seamlessly process international business payments in a cost-effective manner. The solution boasts a wide range of payment services in over 30 currencies, including USD, EUR, and CNY, spanning across more than 50 countries, encompassing key markets such as Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Singapore, and the UK.

Businesses utilizing this solution can conveniently pay international suppliers in their local currencies, thereby reducing costs associated with currency exchange and financial reconciliation. Moreover, the solution facilitates USD payouts that are accessible in real-time to over 170 countries.

Additionally, the platform features the Thunes SmartX Treasury System, aimed at enhancing FX and transaction transparency, as well as liquidity management. It ensures guaranteed pricing, trackable local currency and USD payouts, and necessitates only a single integration with Thunes’ API.

Thunes emphasizes compliant transactions through its Fortress Compliance Platform, offering real-time fraud protection. Chloé Mayenobe, President, and COO of Thunes, expressed, “Thunes Business Payments is a purpose-built solution that empowers banks, wallets, fintechs, enterprises, and merchants to meet evolving customer needs and unlock new growth.”

In February, Thunes extended its Direct Global Network to Taiwan, enabling members to provide real-time payout services in the country, with transaction support in TWD and USD. This move underscores Thunes’ commitment to expanding its global reach and enhancing cross-border payment capabilities.
