Marco Bicego Celebrates 25 Years of Fine Jewelry
Italian designer Marco Bicego, known for his exquisite goldsmithing skills passed down through generations, recently marked a significant milestone in his career. With a legacy rooted in his father’s craft, Bicego launched his namesake jewelry line in 2000. Now, a quarter-century later, he commemorates 25 years of creating stunning fine jewelry pieces.
To honor this achievement, Bicego hosted an exclusive dinner at Mother Wolf, a popular Italian restaurant in Los Angeles, where he was joined by close friends and supporters of the brand.
The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception, accompanied by a curated display showcasing some of Bicego’s most iconic creations, including pieces from the brand’s early years. Reflecting on his journey, Bicego expressed his enthusiasm for the timeless allure of his designs, rather than focusing solely on new releases. Notable pieces on display included a dazzling diamond-encrusted cocktail ring, intricately crafted designs featuring his signature twisted gold chains, and a show-stopping necklace adorned with irregularly shaped, brushed gold spheres valued at $89,000.
Among the esteemed guests in attendance were renowned personalities like Kate Hudson, Mindy Kaling, and celebrity stylist Karla Welch. The intimate gathering transitioned into a family-style dinner, featuring delectable dishes such as golden-fried risotto croquettes (Supplì al Telefono), delicate squash blossoms (Fiori di Zucca), a selection of pizza and pasta, and a mouthwatering main course of branzino. The meal concluded on a sweet note with tiramisu and scoops of gelato.
As the evening drew to a close, amidst the warm glow of candlelight and the lingering aroma of dessert, guests were presented with special gift bags as tokens of appreciation for sharing in the celebration of this significant milestone.
