The Montreal Canadiens clinched their second victory in the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs by defeating the Washington Capitals 6-3 in Game 3 on Saturday. During the game, partners of several Canadiens players were present at Bell Centre, donning matching playoff jackets to show their support.

One of the notable figures in attendance was Habs captain Nick Suzuki’s fiancee, Caitlin Fitzgerald, who took to her Instagram account to share their game-day experience. In a series of stories, Caitlin showcased the group wearing their coordinated red Canadiens jackets with players’ names and numbers on the back. The original post was made by Jake Evans’ wife, Emily.

Caitlin also posted a brief video showing the group making their way through the parking area of Bell Centre. Another story captured the entire group posing outside the arena, with Patrik Laine’s fiancee, Jordan Leigh, also part of the gathering.

It has become a tradition among NHL players’ partners to wear matching custom jackets during the playoffs, and this year’s jackets featured the team colors of red and white. Each jacket had a large white number and the last name of a Canadiens player on the back, while the left sleeve showcased a white Canadiens logo patch.

In a separate event earlier this year, Caitlin Fitzgerald appeared on the “Never Offside with Julie & Cat” podcast, where she revealed some fun facts about Nick Suzuki. She disclosed that Suzuki excels at almost every board game, often winning to the point where she avoids playing games with him. However, when it comes to cooking, Caitlin mentioned that Suzuki’s skills are not as impressive.

The “Never Offside with Julie & Cat” podcast, hosted by Jules Petry and Cat Toffoli, offers insights into the lives of NHL players’ spouses, exploring topics such as family life, travel, and game-day routines.

In conclusion, the Canadiens’ players and their partners continue to show their support and camaraderie both on and off the ice, creating a strong sense of unity and teamwork within the team. The playoffs are an exciting time for players and fans alike, and the Montreal Canadiens are determined to make a strong push towards the Stanley Cup.
