The 2025 BAFTA TV Craft Awards saw some big winners this year, with “Baby Reindeer,” “Rivals,” and “Slow Horses” taking home two honors each. The ceremony, which took place in London on Sunday night, celebrated the talented individuals working behind the scenes in the television industry.

Richard Gadd, the creator of “Baby Reindeer,” walked away with the award for best drama writer, while Weronika Tofilska won best director in fiction for her work on the popular Netflix show. “Slow Horses,” a spy series on Apple TV+, was recognized for editing in fiction and sound in fiction, while Disney+ comedy drama “Rivals” took home awards for makeup and hair design, as well as production design.

Other notable winners of the night included “Shōgun” for photography & lighting in fiction, “Bad Sisters” for original music in fiction, and “Supacell” for scripted casting. “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” was honored for special visual and graphic effects, and “Sweetpea” won for titles and graphic identity. In the factual category, “Life and Death in Gaza” took home the award for editing.

The BAFTA Special Award was presented to the long-running BBC soap “EastEnders” for its commitment to nurturing new talent through various training schemes. The BAFTA TV Craft Awards focus on recognizing the UK’s behind-the-camera TV talent, with performance categories and more set to be announced at the upcoming BAFTA TV Awards on May 11.

“Baby Reindeer” led the nominations with eight nods, followed closely by “Rivals,” “Slow Horses,” and “Mr Bates vs the Post Office” with six each. The awards ceremony will be held at London’s Royal Festival Hall, with Alan Cumming hosting the event. It’s a night to celebrate the hard work and dedication of those who bring our favorite television shows to life.
