Jannik Sinner, the world’s top-ranked tennis player and three-time Grand Slam champion, is not only making a comeback to the pro tour but is also using his influence to support the next generation of young athletes. Today, he officially launched the Jannik Sinner Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children worldwide through education and sports.

The foundation, which has been in the works for some time, aims to make sports and education more accessible to children through various school programs, projects, and community initiatives. Sinner expressed his excitement about the foundation, stating, “For me, it’s an honor to support children and young athletes. Sports have taught me invaluable lessons that I believe are worth sharing. Through our work, we want to inspire kids to reach their full potential, not just in sports but in life.”

The board of the foundation includes key figures such as Alex Vittur, the CEO of Avima and Sinner’s manager, Stefano Domenicali, the president and CEO of Formula 1, and Luca Maestri, the former CFO of Apple. Vittur emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities to all children, regardless of their background, and creating spaces where sports and education can be tools for growth, inclusion, and hope.

At just 23 years old, Sinner has already achieved remarkable success in his tennis career, becoming the first Italian to reach the number-one ATP ranking and winning a total of 19 singles titles on the ATP Tour, including three Grand Slam titles. He is also known for his popularity among fans and fellow players, with British player Jack Draper describing him as a “genuine, nice person.”

As Sinner prepares for his return to the Italian Open in Rome after a three-month suspension due to a doping violation, the tennis world eagerly anticipates his comeback. His dedication to both his sport and giving back to the community through the Jannik Sinner Foundation sets him apart as not only a great athlete but also a role model for aspiring young athletes around the world.
