New Delhi:

India showcased the impact on Pakistani military air bases in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, initiated on May 7 to retaliate against the fatal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, last month.

Air Marshal AK Bharti, the Director General of Air Operations, revealed the damage at the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, located near Islamabad and the country’s military headquarters, engulfed in flames following a massive explosion.

Another video depicted the extensive destruction of the Rahim Yar Khan airbase runway in Punjab, Pakistan.

The Indian armed forces’ objective was to combat terrorists, but the Pakistan military “opted to support” them, escalating the conflict.

During Operation Sindoor, nine terror sites were targeted, including Markaz Taiba of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Muridke, Markaz Subhan Allah of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Bahawalpur, and Hizbul Mujahideen’s Mehmoona Joya Facility in Sialkot.

India reported over 100 terrorists eliminated in the operations.
