Authorities Search for Missing Vail Man in Officers Gulch Area

Summit County officials are currently conducting a search in the Officers Gulch area near Interstate 70 for a missing Vail man, as announced by authorities on Monday.

Sean Marquardt was last seen driving on eastbound I-70 near Vail early Friday morning and had his last communication on Wednesday, as stated in a post shared by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

His vehicle has been located, leading deputies to focus their search efforts in the area near Officers Gulch, situated between Frisco and Copper Mountain. The sheriff’s office has advised people to steer clear of the search area.
