This shift towards health-conscious marketing, however, has raised concerns among health experts about consumer confusion regarding the risks of energy drinks.

Energy drinks typically contain high doses of caffeine, which can be particularly risky for children, teenagers, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, and those with underlying heart conditions. The combination of caffeine with other ingredients like taurine and guarana can compound these risks, especially when consumed during physical activity.
