IMAGINE THAT: Homicides Are Down 60 Percent in Denver Following ICE Deportations |

In an unexpected twist for the liberal stronghold of Denver, Colorado, a notable decline in crime has emerged, coinciding with the recent deportation of criminal undocumented immigrants by ICE. Who could have predicted such a turn of events?

Homicides in Denver and other cities across Colorado have plummeted by an astonishing 60%. This raises a pressing question for liberal proponents of open immigration: will they continue to contest the efficacy of deporting individuals who are in the country illegally? Will they persist in defending notorious factions like MS-13 and other criminal gangs?

It appears that enforcing laws may actually yield positive outcomes for law-abiding citizens. Almost like clockwork.

According to FOX 31 in Denver:

Newly released report says homicides dropped nearly 60% in Denver in 2025

Homicides in Denver have dropped nearly 60% this year, as per a newly published report from the Major Cities Chiefs Association.

This represents a significant decrease from last year, marking one of the most substantial declines in violent crime rates nationwide.

“Violent crime is decreasing in nearly every city, but we have experienced the most significant drop,” stated Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas.

Chief Thomas expressed pride in this achievement, attributing it to the dedication of his officers. “These notable reductions in crime have been achieved without resorting to over-policing communities. It’s vital that we strike a balance between enforcement and community investment,” he added.

Independent journalist Sara Carter remarked:

This dramatic reduction in violence follows intensified immigration enforcement during the Trump administration, which targeted the Denver metropolitan area for the removal of criminal migrants. ICE has acted decisively, apprehending 538 undocumented individuals across various cities, including Denver, and subsequently ramping up efforts against members of the Tren de Aragua gang.

Despite these federal initiatives, local Democratic leadership has resisted collaboration with ICE. Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and Colorado Governor Jared Polis have been notable figures in opposing the administration’s measures, leading the Trump administration to pursue legal action against city and state officials for hindering federal immigration enforcement.

Such tangible results are likely not the narrative that Democrats and mainstream media want to propagate. They seem intent on keeping the public in the dark about the possibility of a safer society, one where crime doesn’t have to be a constant threat, and where the controversial policies of the past may actually have merit.
