New York:
During Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial, his former personal assistant revealed shocking details about his job responsibilities, including cleaning up after Combs’ wild sex parties in hotel rooms. George Kaplan testified that he was tasked with disposing of empty alcohol bottles, baby oil, drugs, and ensuring the room looked undisturbed afterwards to protect Combs’ public image.
Kaplan, who worked for Combs from 2013 to 2015, also disclosed that he was often sent on errands to purchase drugs like MDMA for Combs. He mentioned that Combs would threaten his job security to maintain his silence about these activities.
Combs’ long-time girlfriend, Cassie, testified that Kaplan quit after witnessing Combs physically assaulting her. Kaplan, who was granted immunity to testify, will continue his testimony on Thursday, followed by rapper Kid Cudi.
Additionally, federal agents presented evidence of firearms and drugs found during a raid at Combs’ home in 2024. The investigation was initiated after Cassie filed a lawsuit alleging years of abuse by Combs, leading to a $20 million settlement.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of using his power to control and manipulate individuals through threats and violence. His defense argues that the evidence points to domestic abuse rather than racketeering or sex trafficking.
The trial also featured a psychologist explaining the dynamics of abusive relationships, shedding light on the complexities of victim behavior and memory distortion.
Cassie testified about her relationship with Combs and her brief involvement with Kid Cudi, detailing threats and manipulation she experienced. She emphasized the fear and danger she felt, leading to her decision to end the relationship with Cudi.
These revelations provide a glimpse into the tumultuous personal life of the music mogul, raising questions about his conduct and treatment of others.
