Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Disputed Christmas Invites
Since their last royal Christmas in 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been invited to stay at Sandringham House in Norfolk, where the royal family traditionally spends the festive season. However, the invites for the 2022 and 2023 Christmases are in dispute, marking the first two holidays under King Charles III.
The lack of an invitation this year, along with reports suggesting no future invites, has raised eyebrows in Hollywood circles. One insider went as far as calling it “a new low” for the royals.
A palace source revealed, “The King may have stopped inviting them because they consistently declined invitations in the past. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean he harbors ill feelings towards his youngest son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.”
A Spencer family insider added, “While there hasn’t been an official invitation to Sandringham yet, it’s not entirely ruled out. But even if an invite were extended, it’s unlikely that the Sussexes would accept.”
