Faye Iosotaluno to Step Down as CEO of Tinder

After less than a year in the role, Faye Iosotaluno, the CEO of Tinder, has announced that she will be stepping down from her position in July. This news was shared in a post on LinkedIn, where she reflected on her time at the company, owned by Match Group.

During her nearly eight-year tenure at Tinder, Iosotaluno expressed pride in the team she had built and worked alongside. In her post, she mentioned that her next steps are “deeply personal” and hinted at a focus on supporting and empowering the next generation of women leaders, founders, and investors.

In response to Iosotaluno’s departure, Match Group CEO Spencer Rascoff announced that he would be stepping in to lead the Tinder team. Rascoff expressed gratitude for the preparations made for a smooth transition and excitement to continue building on the momentum created under Iosotaluno’s leadership.

According to reports from Bloomberg, Match Group is making efforts to boost Tinder’s growth. This includes a recent announcement of a 13% reduction in staff to streamline decision-making and cut costs, with a significant portion of the cuts affecting the Tinder team.
