The Charlotte Motor Speedway is set to host the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600, the 13th race of the season. As anticipation builds for the event, renowned NASCAR insider Bob Pockrass has shared his predictions for the race, including his pick for the winner, top-five finishers, and a long-shot contender.

Pockrass has placed his bet on Kyle Larson from Hendrick Motorsports to emerge victorious at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Larson, who has a strong track record at the 1.5-mile Kansas, will be starting from the third position in the 40-driver field. With three wins, four top fives, and eight top 10 finishes in 16 races, Larson is a formidable contender for the win.

Joining Larson in Pockrass’ top five predictions are Christopher Bell, the defending winner of the event, Austin Cindric, Alex Bowman, and Chase Briscoe. Additionally, Pockrass has highlighted Ty Gibbs as a long-shot prospect for the race, with Gibbs starting from the seventh position.

In a recent tweet, Pockrass outlined his predictions, stating, “My Cup pick for the Coke 600: Kyle Larson … top-5: Larson Bell Cindric Bowman Briscoe … longshot: Gibbs ET 5-Prime-Prerace 6:27-Prime-Cup race, stages 100-100-100-100, 13 sets tires, fuel 62-70 laps.”

Larson has been in exceptional form in the 2025 season, with three wins, eight top-five finishes, and nine top-10 finishes in 12 races. Leading the Cup Series points table, Larson will be aiming to secure his fourth win of the season. Notably, Larson will also be participating in the Indianapolis 500 on the same day, showcasing his versatility and skill as a driver.

Meanwhile, NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson, with four Coca-Cola 600 wins, remains a prominent figure in the history of the event. The odds table also favors Bell and Cindric as top contenders for the coveted victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In a separate prediction, 2014 Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick has chosen William Byron, Larson’s teammate at Hendrick Motorsports, as a favorite to clinch his second win of the season at the Charlotte track. Harvick expressed his confidence in Byron during a recent episode of his podcast, stating, “600 miles. That’s a long ways but a long time. I’m going to go with William Byron.”

Fans can catch all the NASCAR Cup Series action at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, with the 600-mile race available for viewing on Prime Video. As the excitement builds for the Coca-Cola 600, all eyes will be on the drivers as they vie for victory on the iconic track.
