Each day, countless children are reported missing—a grim truth that leaves profound emotional scars not just on the children themselves, but also on their families, who are left in agonizing uncertainty about when, or if, they will ever hold their children again. Unfortunately, this crisis has been exacerbated by the open border policies of past administrations.
A Commitment to Protect Our Children
This National Missing Children’s Day, my Administration is dedicated to safeguarding the most vulnerable among us. We aim to confront every predator, trafficker, kidnapper, and abuser who seeks to exploit our youth, employing the full weight of the law to bring them to justice.
Strengthening Our Borders and Communities
As President, I am actively working to fortify our southern border, uphold the dignity of all lives, and eradicate the horrific issue of child sex trafficking. One of my first steps in office was to declare a national emergency at the southern border. Additionally, I classified cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists, aiming to dismantle their reign of terror and chaos.
Restoring Justice and Order
While we secure our borders, remove criminal illegal aliens, and halt the trafficking and smuggling of children, my Administration is also committed to recovering our missing children and reuniting them with their families. Under my leadership, justice at our borders, stability in our communities, and harmony in our families are being rapidly restored.
