Italian Crypto Millionaire Escapes Captors After Brutal Torture in SoHo Townhouse
A shocking video has emerged showing the moment Italian bitcoin trader, Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, escaped from his captors after enduring brutal torture inside a luxurious SoHo townhouse. The harrowing incident unfolded at a Prince Street residence where Carturan was allegedly held against his will and subjected to violence in an attempt to obtain his crypto password.
The video obtained by NBC New York captures Carturan, visibly distressed and shoeless, as he seeks help from an NYPD traffic cop after managing to escape on Friday.

Authorities have arrested Kentucky crypto magnate, John Woeltz, on charges of kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and weapons possession in connection with the disturbing incident. Additionally, bitcoin trader William Duplessie surrendered to police for questioning after being identified as a person of interest.
Woeltz’s assistant, Beatrice Folchi, a stunning Italian, was also taken into custody on Friday but was subsequently released as Manhattan prosecutors opted not to press charges pending further investigation.
