An FBI analyst in Houston, Brian Vincent Rausch, was arrested in Cypress, Texas after authorities discovered multiple videos depicting child sexual assault in his possession. The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office reported that Rausch is facing seven counts of possession of child pornography following a raid on his home.
Neighbors were shocked to witness the police raid on Rausch’s home, describing him as an unassuming family man. Corey Guerrero, a neighbor who sold Rausch his home, recounted the scene where Rausch’s wife and children were brought out of the house during the raid. The community expressed disbelief at the allegations, as Rausch had lived in the neighborhood for 11 years and was known as a nice family man.
Rausch has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography in Texas, including three first-degree felonies and two second-degree felonies. Additionally, he is facing two federal child pornography charges. Following his arrest, Rausch was booked into the Harris County Jail.
The investigation into Rausch involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Houston Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Department of Homeland Security.
