Fire inspector Lance Jimenez testified in court that the arson attack on Kid Cudi’s Porsche convertible was a deliberate act using a Molotov cocktail. The homemade bomb was made from a 40-ounce malt liquor bottle and a designer handkerchief.
According to Jimenez, the bottle used in the arson incident was a 40-ounce Olde English 800 malt liquor bottle filled with gasoline and a designer handkerchief.

“In my opinion, this was a targeted attack,” Jimenez told the jury.
The fabric used in the bottle was described as a “silky material,” which ultimately prevented the bomb from causing extensive damage to the car.
“The fire smoldered out and did not cause the damage it was intended to,” Jimenez explained.
