J.K. Simmons to Star in MGM+ Drama Series “The Westies”
J.K. Simmons has been confirmed to take on a lead role in the upcoming MGM+ drama series “The Westies,” which has been given the green light for a full series order. The show, which was initially announced to be in development in March 2025, is created by Chris Brancato and Michael Panes. Based on the true story of the notorious New York City gang of the same name, “The Westies” promises to deliver a gripping and intense narrative set in the early 1980s.
