CWBChicago was founded in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were frustrated with the lack of accurate information available at local Community Policing meetings. Over the years, our coverage area has expanded to include neighborhoods like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side areas. Despite this growth, our mission remains the same: to deliver original reporting on public safety issues with in-depth analysis and context that mainstream media often overlooks.
