The case of the alleged Crypto Torture-Kidnap involving John Woeltz and William Duplessie has taken a new turn with the release of shocking videos and photos depicting a wild sex party atmosphere during the time of the alleged torture. The victim, Italian businessman Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, is seen in the footage smiling, frequently shirtless, and engaging with other partygoers inside the Manhattan townhouse where the incident took place.
The duo is accused of abducting and torturing Carturan from May 6 to May 23 in an attempt to obtain the password to his Bitcoin wallet, which is said to hold millions. Despite the allegations of beatings, shocks, and pistol-whippings, the new images captured around May 11 or 12 show Carturan in seemingly good spirits, interacting with several women in various scenes.
One particularly shocking photo shows Carturan shirtless with a neck collar attached to a leash, being pulled by a woman in a simulated S&M scene. Other images depict him engaging in sexual activities and discussing drug use, while a video shows him on his knees as a woman pulls at his leash gently.
While the footage does not show Carturan in distress, it raises questions about the extent of his captivity during the nearly three weeks he was allegedly held against his will. The images challenge the narrative presented by prosecutors, who have charged Woeltz and Duplessie with kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and possession of a weapon.
The case has garnered widespread attention, with the Manhattan D.A.’s Office declining to comment on the matter. Authorities and attorneys for the accused have yet to respond to inquiries about the new evidence. As the investigation continues, the true nature of the events that unfolded during the alleged Crypto Torture-Kidnap remains shrouded in mystery.
