The shocking case of two crypto enthusiasts accused of kidnapping and torturing an Italian Bitcoin millionaire has taken a new turn with revelations of wild sex parties allegedly hosted at their New York City townhouse. According to sources, a mysterious madam is believed to have recruited girls from a popular SoHo boutique to participate in these parties with William Duplessie, 32, and John Woeltz, 37.
Footage released by TMZ showed the recruits inside the luxurious Prince Street pad with the alleged victim, Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan, during his three-week ordeal. Carturan, a wealthy trader worth $30 million, was reportedly forced to engage in sexual activities with the women on some occasions.
In one video, Carturan was seen being led on a leash by a woman, while another clip depicted him lying on a couch with a man holding a knife nearby. The Italian national was lured to New York under false pretenses, with the promise of recovering Bitcoin that the accused had allegedly extorted from him by threatening his family.
The nightmare began on May 6 when Carturan was picked up from the airport by a suspended NYPD detective and taken to the townhouse. He was reportedly tied up on May 11 and subjected to brutal torture to reveal his Bitcoin password, including beatings, electric shocks, and being dangled from a five-story staircase.
The harrowing ordeal ended on May 23 when Carturan managed to escape while his captors retrieved his computer password. Woeltz was arrested that day outside the rental property, while Duplessie surrendered a week later after partying in the Hamptons.
A search of the townhouse uncovered drugs, weapons, body armor, and photos of the victim with a gun to his head. The ongoing investigation may now include the newly surfaced videos of the alleged sex parties.
The accused kidnappers remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in court later this month. While Duplessie’s attorney declined to comment, Woeltz’s lawyer has not responded to requests for a statement.
