On Friday evening, a significant gathering of over 1,000 protestors surrounded a federal detention facility in Los Angeles, spurred by a series of immigration enforcement actions conducted by ICE earlier in the day.
The ICE agents executed raids at various businesses in downtown Los Angeles, including a prominent Home Depot, leading to several arrests.
Clashes erupted between left-wing protestors and federal agents during the raids. Protestors engaged in confrontational behavior, hurling projectiles and obstructing ICE vans from departing.
Some protestors resorted to throwing eggs at federal agents, prompting the arrival of the FBI to the scene.
Following the ICE operations, the protestors marched toward the federal detention center located on Alameda Street.
