About CWBChicago
CWBChicago was founded in 2013 by residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Since then, our coverage area has expanded to include Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side neighborhoods. Our primary goal remains consistent: to deliver original public safety reporting with enhanced context and depth compared to mainstream media outlets.
