OnePlus has recently unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, and it appears to be a strong contender in the tablet market. Despite the confusing naming convention, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers a premium tablet experience at a competitive price, making it a worthy successor to the OnePlus Pad 2.

The device boasts an incredibly slim body, measuring just 5.97mm in thickness. OnePlus has utilized a special type of aluminum to ensure durability while keeping the tablet lightweight at 675g. The OnePlus Pad 3 will be available in two color options: Storm Blue and Frosted Silver, with only the former being offered in Europe.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making it one of the first tablets on the market to feature this chipset. Paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and a cutting-edge vapor chamber with graphene composite material, the tablet promises impressive performance. In benchmark tests, it surpasses the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra in terms of speed.

With storage options of 256GB or 512GB, the OnePlus Pad 3 also features a sizable 12,140mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVooc fast charging. The device sports a large 13.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3392 x 2400 (3.4K) and a 144Hz refresh rate. While not OLED, OnePlus promises vibrant colors with 12-bit support. The tablet also boasts an eight-speaker setup with four woofers and four tweeters for impressive audio quality.

In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Pad 3 features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The main camera can record 4K video at 30fps. The tablet runs on OxygenOS 15 Tablet Edition, based on Android 15, offering tablet-optimized multitasking features and enhanced screen sharing capabilities.

OnePlus has also introduced new accessories for the OnePlus Pad 3, including an upgraded keyboard with larger, more spaced-out keys and adjustable viewing angles. The company has also redesigned the tri-fold case and introduced the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus with 16,000 pressure levels and a faux-leather texture.

The OnePlus Pad 3 will be available for purchase starting June 19, 2025, with prices starting at £529 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The top-tier model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will be priced at £599. Additionally, the new keyboard accessory will cost £169, while the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus will be priced at £99. Overall, the OnePlus Pad 3 offers impressive performance at a competitive price point, making it a compelling option in the tablet market.
