The DHS self-deport app allows undocumented individuals cost-free travel home, a $1,000 bonus, and a pathway to return to the US legally in the future.

The Department of Homeland Security Unveils New Self-Deportation Program

On Monday night, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) rolled out a controversial program that aims to incentivize undocumented individuals to voluntarily return to their home countries. The initiative, utilizing the CBP Home App, offers a range of perks, including the cancellation of any outstanding fines, complimentary travel back home, and a $1,000 bonus upon departure.

Through this program, those who choose to self-deport will also retain the option to apply for legal re-entry into the United States in the future, a seemingly generous offer in the face of escalating immigration enforcement.

Today, DHS is announcing illegal aliens who self-deport through the CBP Home App will receive forgiveness of any failure to depart fines, in addition to cost-free travel and a $1,000 exit bonus.

According to the DHS:

Undocumented individuals who register for voluntary self-departure via the CBP Home Mobile App will enjoy cost-free travel, a $1,000 exit incentive, and the forgiveness of any fines related to unlawful presence. Those seeking assistance will have a prompt departure arranged for them.

The CBP Home Mobile App facilitates planning for return, allowing users to manage their affairs—be it work, education, or personal matters—before embarking on a timely and orderly exit.

This initiative may strike a chord among undocumented individuals, particularly as they witness intensified ICE raids targeting violent offenders.

It’s clear: President Trump is not playing around.
