CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten pointed out what he considers to be “undoubtedly one of Trump’s worst polls.”
Describing it as “absolutely terrible in every aspect,” Enten commented on the latest polling data released on Wednesday by Quinnipiac University. The poll reveals a sharp decline in public approval for President Donald Trump on various critical issues.
According to the survey of 1,265 registered voters nationwide, 54% disapprove of Trump’s performance as POTUS, while 53% have an unfavorable view of him.
Additionally, 53% of respondents are against the president’s controversial spending and taxation proposal, known as the Big Beautiful Bill, which led to a public disagreement between Trump and his former close associate Elon Musk.
A majority of those surveyed also expressed disapproval of Trump’s approach to immigration, deportations, the economy, trade policies, higher education, the Israel-Hamas conflict, and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Enten emphasized that the findings paint a bleak picture overall.
