The community has come together to support the family of the late Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, a talented fashion designer who tragically passed away, leaving behind his wife Laura and their two young children, Vera and Isaac. A GoFundMe page was set up by friends to provide financial assistance to the Ah Loo family during this difficult time.

Initially, the goal of the fundraiser was set at $300,000, but the outpouring of love and support from donors quickly surpassed this target. The fundraising goal has now been raised to $600,000, showcasing the immense generosity and compassion of those who knew and loved Ah Loo.

In a heartfelt update shared by the organizer of the GoFundMe page, gratitude was expressed for the overwhelming support received. The organizer stated, “Words cannot express the gratitude we feel. The love and support being shown to the Ah Loo family is beyond anything we could have imagined. Laura, Afa, Vera, and Isaac are so loved and it shows. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Ah Loo was known for his pride in his Samoan heritage and his dedication to sharing his culture through his work with the nonprofit Creative Pacific and his innovative designs. However, his greatest source of pride was his family. The loss of Ah Loo has left a deep void in the lives of Laura, Vera, and Isaac, prompting friends and loved ones to rally together to raise funds to assist Laura with funeral expenses and alleviate the financial challenges she now faces.

The Ah Loo family has been touched by the overwhelming support and generosity shown by the community during this difficult time. The fundraiser continues to grow, serving as a testament to the impact that Ah Loo had on those around him and the legacy he leaves behind. Through unity and compassion, the community stands together to honor the memory of Arthur Folasa Ah Loo and provide comfort and support to his beloved family.
