Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun have been at odds for quite some time, but it seems like they are finally close to settling their differences. According to sources familiar with the situation, the two are on the verge of reaching a settlement over a significant financial dispute.

The settlement talks were reportedly sparked by a recent TMZ documentary that shed light on the issues between Justin and Scooter. In the documentary titled “TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber,” it was revealed that their relationship soured after Justin accused Scooter of cheating him out of millions. However, an independent audit conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) showed that Justin actually owes Scooter $8.6 million in unpaid commissions. Surprisingly, Scooter has decided to waive the entire amount, showing a willingness to move past the dispute.

Despite this positive development, there are still two major outstanding issues that need to be resolved. One involves a $26 million advance that Justin received from AEG for his “Justice” tour. After Justin canceled the tour prematurely, AEG demanded repayment of $26 million. Scooter’s company, Hybe, agreed to pay AEG on Justin’s behalf, with Justin agreeing to reimburse Hybe over a 10-year period. However, Justin made only one payment before stopping, leading to further complications.

The second issue revolves around $11 million in commissions that Justin allegedly failed to pay over the years. This amount was not reflected in the PwC audit, but Scooter is reportedly willing to settle for a fraction of the sum, offering Justin a favorable resolution.

With Hailey Bieber recently selling her beauty company, Rhode, Justin now has the means to settle his debts. It is believed that he has agreed to repay the $26 million owed to AEG and is close to reaching a settlement with Scooter on the remaining commissions.
