Border Czar Tom Homan Speaks Out Against Anti-ICE Rhetoric
Tom Homan, the Border Czar, has recently addressed the rising threat to ICE and federal law enforcement officers, attributing the increased danger to inflammatory rhetoric from Democrats.
In a pointed critique, former New York Governor and NYC Mayoral Candidate Andrew Cuomo has been vocal in his condemnation of ICE, alleging that the agency “violates fundamental rights” and operates without accountability. His language was particularly incendiary, labeling their actions as “thuggery” and demanding that federal agents “unmask and identify themselves immediately.”
Adding to the tense climate, reports indicate that ICE agents have experienced a staggering 500% spike in assaults as protests against them escalate in various blue cities across the nation. Cuomo’s call for doxxing federal agents raises serious concerns about the safety of these individuals and their families, particularly given the violent tendencies of some protestors.
As ICE Agents Face a 500% Increase in Assaults, NYC Mayoral Candidate Andrew Cuomo Wants to Make it Easier to Dox Them: “Show us who you are”
Homan addressed Cuomo’s remarks during an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, stressing the gravity of the situation. He also took aim at Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who has called for the arrest of officers who removed Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) from a press conference. Homan criticized Swalwell for ignoring the chaos resulting from the Biden administration’s open border policies, stating, “They lied about the border being secure, and they didn’t say a word. But now, all of a sudden, like you said, it’s okay for them to come in, but now that we enforce law and make them go home, they have a problem.”
Turning his attention to California Governor Gavin Newsom, Homan expressed disdain for Newsom’s behavior during recent riots in Los Angeles, where he was seen enjoying a luxury wine tasting while chaos unfolded in his city. Homan remarked, “Thank God President Trump deployed the National Guard. It was a great move,” reflecting on the necessity of federal intervention in such turbulent times.
If only Pam Bondi could intervene to address the thugs who harbor illegal aliens and incite their radical followers against federal law enforcement.
WATCH:
Watters: Is Cuomo a joke?
Homan: Yes, and you made it clear that the agents are wearing masks to protect themselves and their families. Not only are they being doxxed, but their spouses and children are as well. You mentioned it: assaults are up over 400%. They are doing the job Congress told them to do, and they are executing orders from a federal judge to arrest and deport individuals. They are not fabricating these tasks; they’re trying to ensure their own safety. The job was already perilous, but it’s become significantly more dangerous due to the rhetoric from Democrats.
Watters: Well, Swalwell wants to arrest ICE agents, while other Democrats have labeled their actions as kidnapping.
Homan: Swalwell is hardly a beacon of intelligence. If a member of Congress disapproves of ICE’s actions, the solution is to legislate and change the law, as we’re merely enforcing the laws they enacted. This is just another instance of a Democrat lawmaker targeting ICE for executing the very laws they established. Meanwhile, he remains silent about the half a million children smuggled into the country under Biden, the loss of 300,000 of them, the over 400 individuals on terrorist watchlists crossing the border, and the rising death toll from fentanyl entering the country. He hasn’t uttered a word about the record number of migrants dying while attempting to cross the border, which has now surpassed 4,000. Their silence during these crises is telling; they were complicit and lied about border security. Now they have an issue when we enforce the law and send individuals back home.
Watters: Gavin Newsom was sipping wine while his city burned, and then he faced legal defeat. What kind of Governor is that?
Homan: Disgusting. I was in Los Angeles when the riots began. We were serving criminal search warrants as part of a broader investigation into money laundering, tax evasion, and customs fraud in the garment district. This investigation is linked to how some of this funding supports cartel activities in Colombia and Mexico. It was not an immigration raid; it was a criminal investigation. I witnessed the chaos firsthand, as 1,000 people surrounded the federal building with employees and detained individuals inside. The situation was perilous. Thank God President Trump deployed the National Guard; it was indeed a wise decision.
