On Saturday, President Trump, flanked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance, addressed the nation to reveal the outcome of U.S. airstrikes targeting nuclear facilities in Iran.

In a speech that lasted roughly four minutes, the President issued a stark ultimatum: “Either peace will prevail, or Iran will face a tragedy far worse than the events of the past eight days.” He elaborated, asserting, “Tonight’s operation was the most challenging of our objectives, and possibly the deadliest. But if peace is not swiftly achieved, we will strike other targets with precision, speed, and skill. Most can be neutralized in mere minutes.”

Shortly after his speech, the President took to Truth Social to reinforce his message:

“ANY RETALIATION BY IRAN AGAINST THE UNITED STATES WILL BE MET WITH FORCE FAR GREATER THAN WHAT WAS WITNESSED TONIGHT. THANK YOU! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES”

In a dramatic escalation, President Trump confirmed that the U.S. had launched strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran.

“We successfully completed our attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All aircraft are now safely outside Iranian airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. Our pilots are on their way home. Congratulations to our brave American warriors. No military in the world could have accomplished this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

This military action has sparked concerns that the U.S. may become further entangled in a Middle Eastern conflict that many believe is not our battle. Meanwhile, some warmongers, including Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), are likely celebrating the escalation.

As reported by the Gateway Pundit, Graham wasted no time in applauding Trump’s decision, citing that the President had heeded his advice regarding the strikes on Iranian sites.

However, many Americans express apprehension that this could spiral into a repeat of Iraq.

In response to public concerns about U.S. involvement in what many see as Israel’s conflict, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reassured citizens by highlighting the “peace through strength” foreign policy that characterized Trump’s first term, simply urging, “Trust in President Trump.”

Let’s hope that trust is not misplaced.

Already, the President is facing criticism from certain factions on the right.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) contended that the military action is “not constitutional.”

Meanwhile, Candace Owens labeled the strike as “utterly deranged,” referencing the $100 million that Trump’s campaign received from Israeli philanthropist Miriam Adelson.

“A full payload of bombs was dropped” followed by “now is the time for peace.” Utterly deranged. If we had raised the 100 million Adelson gave him on Go Fund Me, maybe he would have kept his promises. Guess we’ll never know. https://t.co/cU86qT15DY

President Trump described the strikes as a “spectacular” success, asserting that they were warranted due to the “hundreds of thousands who have perished throughout the Middle East and beyond because of their hatred.”

“I decided long ago that I would not allow this to continue,” he stated, referencing the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani during his first term.

WATCH:

Trump: Thank you very much. A short time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. For years, these names have been synonymous with a destructive enterprise. Our aim was to obliterate Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and eliminate the threat posed by the world’s foremost state sponsor of terror. I can now report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and utterly destroyed. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now pursue peace. If they fail to do so, future strikes will be even more extensive and simpler to execute. For 40 years, Iran has chanted, “Death to America,” “Death to Israel.” They have caused immense suffering with roadside bombs. We lost over 1,000 of our own, and hundreds of thousands have died as a direct consequence of their aggression, especially at the hands of their General, Qasem Soleimani. I decided a long time ago that I would not let this happen. It will not continue.

I want to extend my gratitude to Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. Our collaboration has been unprecedented, and we have made significant strides in neutralizing this grave threat to Israel. I also want to thank the Israeli military for their impressive efforts, and most importantly, I want to commend the brave American patriots who flew those magnificent aircraft tonight, along with all of the United States military on an operation the likes of which the world has not witnessed in decades. Hopefully, we will not require their services in this capacity again. I hope so. I also want to congratulate General Dan “Razin” Kane, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and all the brilliant military minds involved in this operation. That being said, this cannot continue. There will be either peace or tragedy for Iran far greater than what we have experienced over the past eight days.

Remember, there are numerous targets remaining. Tonight’s operation was the most challenging and potentially the most lethal. But if peace does not materialize quickly, we will target those other options with speed, precision, and expertise. No military in the world could achieve what we did tonight—not even close. There has never been a military capable of executing what transpired just a short while ago. Tomorrow, General Caine and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will hold a press conference at 8 a.m. at the Pentagon. Thank you all, and, in particular, God. We love you, God, and we cherish our great military. Protect them. God bless the Middle East, God bless Israel, and God bless America. Thank you very much. Thank you.
