Brad Keselowski, the Roush-Fenway Keselowski Racing driver, recently faced a setback during the Pocono Raceway event, which he candidly discussed in a post-race interview with Amazon Prime. Despite starting from the mid-pack, Keselowski managed to take the lead and stay in front for 27 laps. However, during lap 56 of the 160-lap race, he made a critical error by entering the pit road when it was closed, resulting in the loss of his lead position.
Reflecting on the incident, Keselowski admitted his mistake and took full responsibility for it. He acknowledged that he should have double-checked with his crew chief and spotter before making the decision to pit. Despite the setback, Keselowski managed to finish in the top ten at “The Great American Getaway 400 Presented by VISITPA.COM,” securing a ninth-place finish, just behind his teammate Ryan Preece.
Looking ahead to the 2025 Cup Series season, Keselowski opened up about his struggle to secure a win and his current 30th place ranking in the series points table. In contrast, his teammates, Ryan Preece and Chris Buescher, have been performing exceptionally well, ranking 14th and 11th respectively. Keselowski acknowledged the push he was receiving from his teammates, stating that he appreciated their intensity and the competitive environment they created within the team.
Despite the challenges he faced during the season, Keselowski remained optimistic and determined to improve his performance. With the support of his teammates and the lessons learned from his mistakes, Keselowski aims to bounce back and secure better results in the upcoming races. As he continues to work hard and push himself to the limit, Keselowski remains focused on achieving success and making a mark in the highly competitive world of NASCAR racing.
