Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Shivam Dube has made headlines with his recent real estate investment in Mumbai. Dube reportedly purchased two luxurious apartments in Andheri West, Mumbai, with a combined worth of ₹27.50 crore. The property registration documents, reviewed by online property portal Square Yards, confirmed the transaction in June 2025.
Situated in the prestigious DLH Enclave in Oshiwara, these apartments boast a total carpet area of 4200 sq ft, including a spacious terrace spanning 3,800 sq ft. Additionally, the apartments come with three parking spaces, adding to their allure. The stamp duty for the transaction amounted to ₹1.65 crore, with registration charges of ₹30,000.
Shivam Dube, known for his explosive batting and handy medium-pace bowling, represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and has also donned the Indian jersey in four ODIs and 35 T20Is. Notably, he was part of the victorious Indian team at the 2024 T20 World Cup.
On the cricketing front, Shreyas Iyer made waves during the IPL 2025 season after being acquired by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for a staggering ₹26.75 crore at the mega auction. Leading PBKS from the front, Iyer steered the team to their first playoffs appearance since 2014 and secured a spot in the IPL final.
PBKS emerged as one of the most consistent teams in the tournament, finishing at the top of the table after the league stage with nine wins and 19 points from 14 matches. Despite a loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the first qualifier, they bounced back with a victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the second qualifier.
However, PBKS fell short in the final showdown against RCB, who clinched the championship. Shreyas Iyer’s exceptional leadership and batting prowess were instrumental in PBKS’ successful campaign. Iyer enjoyed his best-ever IPL season, amassing 604 runs from 17 matches at an impressive average of 50.33 and a striking strike rate of 175.07. With six half-centuries to his name, Iyer’s unbeaten 97 stood out as a testament to his batting prowess.
As cricket enthusiasts marvel at Dube’s lavish property acquisition and Iyer’s stellar IPL performance, the 2025 season continues to be a memorable chapter in the annals of Indian cricket.
