Wimbledon season is upon us, and ESPN has unveiled a new campaign inspired by the iconic filmmaking style of Wes Anderson. Titled “Quiet Please,” the campaign takes cues from Anderson’s love for symmetry and curated color palettes, creating a visually stunning tribute to the prestigious tennis tournament.

The campaign features a star-studded lineup of players, including rising stars like French Open champions Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz, as well as top players like Novak Djokovic, Madison Keys, and more. The use of Franz Ferdinand’s “Take Me Out” as the campaign’s anthem adds an energetic and modern touch to the traditional Wimbledon setting.

Rachel Epstein, Vice President of Live Sports and Audience Expansion at ESPN, praised the campaign for its unique and cinematic approach to showcasing the elegance and intensity of Wimbledon. The juxtaposition of the tournament’s timeless traditions with the dynamic gameplay on the court is beautifully captured in the campaign.

Known for its rich traditions and unique charm, Wimbledon is considered one of the most prestigious tennis Grand Slams. The iconic call of “quiet please” from umpires adds to the tournament’s mystique, setting the stage for ESPN’s captivating marketing campaign.

From June 30 to July 13, ESPN will provide comprehensive coverage of Wimbledon across its networks, including ABC, ESPN, and ESPN Deportes. With over 250 hours of live coverage and every match streaming on ESPN+, fans can enjoy the action from the first ball to the last.

For Disney+ subscribers, the tournament action will be available directly within the Disney+ app, making it easier than ever to catch all the Wimbledon excitement. Additionally, the entire tournament will stream on Disney+ for all Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle subscribers.
