Edward Coristine, a.k.a. ‘Big Balls,’ Makes a Return

In a surprising twist worthy of a political thriller, Edward Coristine—affectionately dubbed ‘Big Balls’—has resurfaced in the public sector after a brief hiatus from his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This unexpected comeback follows reports earlier this week that he had stepped down.

Coristine first garnered attention last month, when his unconventional name became the centerpiece of a media frenzy that eclipsed his coding prowess. At just 19 years old, he was a promising talent within Elon Musk’s DOGE initiative, making headlines during his debut appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime, where he participated in an unrestrained roundtable discussion.

According to a Thursday report from Wired, Coristine has now transitioned to the Social Security Administration (SSA).

Wired reported:

Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, one of the early recruits to Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has made a swift return to government service following his resignation.

“Edward Coristine joined the Social Security Administration this week as a special government employee,” confirmed Stephen McGraw, an SSA spokesperson, in a statement to Wired. “His role will center on enhancing the functionality of the Social Security website and advancing our mission to provide more efficient service to the American populace.”

Multiple sources within the SSA have indicated that Coristine has been seen working onsite at the agency’s headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. An employee recounted spotting Coristine with Aram Moghaddassi, a current engineer at X and a former Neuralink staffer. The duo was reportedly seen at the SSA cafeteria just this past Monday, though the exact start date of Coristine’s new employment remains unclear. “He appeared somewhat anxious, bordering on embarrassed,” said the source. “Aram was on the phone with someone, then gestured to Big Balls, saying, ‘Yes, I’m with him right now.’”
