In a press conference held on Friday, President Trump celebrated a series of significant victories from the Supreme Court.

With a decisive 6–3 ruling, the Supreme Court favored the Trump administration, determining that federal district courts do not possess the constitutional or statutory power to issue what are known as ‘universal injunctions.’ These sweeping legal orders have often been employed by left-leaning advocacy groups to halt government policies on a nationwide scale.

“This is a HUGE WIN in the United States Supreme Court! Even the Birthright Citizenship Hoax has been, in a way, dealt a heavy blow. It pertains to the children of slaves (same year!), rather than the SCAMMING of our Immigration process. Kudos to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Solicitor General John Sauer, and the entire DOJ. News Conference at the White House, 11:30 A.M. EST,” Trump proclaimed on Truth Social.

Previously, the Trump administration had urged the Supreme Court to curtail the ability of lower courts to issue nationwide injunctions.

Four federal judges had previously blocked the executive order regarding birthright citizenship.

Solicitor General John Sauer from the Department of Justice noted that since January, federal judges have issued over 40 nationwide injunctions, effectively stifling pivotal executive actions, including the contentious directive to terminate birthright citizenship for children born to non-citizen parents.

During the press conference, President Trump vehemently criticized what he termed “radical judges” and provided a brief overview of the policies hindered by these nationwide injunctions.

  • Ending birthright citizenship
  • Ending funding for sanctuary cities
  • Suspending refugee resettlement
  • Freezing unnecessary federal funding
  • Halting taxpayer funds for transgender surgeries
