Keke Palmer recently made an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” where she addressed the controversy surrounding the scrapped podcast interview with Jonathan Majors. Majors was originally scheduled to appear on an episode of Palmer’s podcast, “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer,” during his press tour for “Magazine Dreams.” However, the episode never aired, and Palmer instead released an interview with rapper Kash Doll, leaving fans curious about the change.

During her interview, Palmer expressed her admiration for Meagan Good, Majors’ wife, and mentioned that she was looking forward to having a conversation with him. She emphasized the importance of being unbiased and creating a platform for guests to share their perspectives, even if viewers may not agree with everything that is said.

The decision to pull the Majors episode was based on the reaction it received, with some feeling that it was insensitive to have him as a guest. Palmer acknowledged the concerns and stated that she always aims to be respectful and understand different viewpoints. She compared the situation to interviewing individuals with controversial pasts, noting that as a journalist, her role is to facilitate dialogue and allow the public to form their own opinions.

Majors’ past legal troubles, including a conviction for assault and harassment in a domestic violence case, have impacted his career. Despite making a comeback with the release of “Magazine Dreams,” Majors faced backlash and lost prominent acting roles, including a villainous part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Palmer expressed her well wishes for Majors and his wife, emphasizing that she harbors no judgment towards them. She hinted at the possibility of releasing the podcast interview in the future, but the decision remains uncertain.
