Sex Scandal Involving Matt Gaetz Leads to Guilty Plea from Former Associate

Recently, a sordid sex scandal involving Congressman Matt Gaetz has come to light, resulting in at least one individual close to Gaetz facing serious consequences. Joel Greenberg, a former associate of Gaetz who previously served as a Florida tax collector, pleaded guilty to six charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, identity theft, stalking, wire fraud, and conspiracy to bribe a public official.

As part of his plea agreement, Greenberg has agreed to cooperate with federal investigators and has been sentenced to 11 years in prison. During a 2021 appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News, Gaetz vehemently denied the allegations, stating that the individual in question does not exist and refuting any claims of involvement with a 17-year-old. A staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump and a member of the Freedom Caucus known as the ‘MAGA Squad’, Gaetz has yet to address the recent court filing.
