Lego-loving kids who have been longing to showcase their building skills on a TV competition show can now rejoice as a new series, “Lego Masters Jr.,” is set to premiere on August 18th. Hosted by the talented Kelly Osbourne, this four-week special event will feature junior Lego enthusiasts between the ages of 9 and 17 teaming up with celebrity partners such as Ravi V. Patel, Andy Richter, Jordin Sparks, Alison Sweeney, and Porsha Williams. The judging panel will consist of brickmasters Amy Corbett and Boone Langston, who are both seasoned experts in the world of Lego building.
Each episode of “Lego Masters Jr.” will see the junior builders and their celebrity teammates collaborating to create awe-inspiring Lego builds that will impress the judges. The grand finale will feature the top teams competing head-to-head for a $50,000 grand prize, the coveted Lego trophy, and the title of Lego Masters Jr. champions.
Ravi V. Patel, a self-proclaimed Lego enthusiast, expressed his excitement about being a part of the show, stating that he grew up surrounded by Lego and is a big fan of the series. Similarly, Alison Sweeney shared that her children were thrilled about her participation in the show, with her son having a massive Lego collection and her daughter being highly competitive and supportive of her mom.
Jordan Sparks, another celebrity partner on the show, admitted that while she may not consider herself a Lego master just yet, she finds the process of building with Lego pieces to be calming and enjoyable. She shared that she introduced her niece to Lego when she was young and now enjoys playing with her son as well.
Porsha Williams, who also stars in “Lego Masters Jr.,” revealed that her daughter is a big fan of Lego and finds it incredibly cool that her mom is part of the show. Williams rates her own Lego projects a seven out of ten but humorously acknowledges that her daughter may have a different opinion on the matter.
