Say farewell to the beloved fab five as Netflix’s hit show “Queer Eye” prepares to conclude after its upcoming 10th season.

The announcement was made by Netflix through its social media platforms, revealing that the final season of “Queer Eye” is currently in production, marking the end of a successful run that captured the hearts of viewers worldwide.

Originally a reboot of Bravo’s 2003 series, “Queer Eye” first premiered on Netflix in 2018. The show follows five LGBTQ+ experts, known as the Fab Five, as they provide life-changing makeovers to individuals in need, with each season focusing on a different city in the United States.

The original cast members, including Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France, brought their expertise in food, design, grooming, culture, and fashion to the show. After Season 8, Berk departed the series, making way for interior designer Jeremiah Brent to join the team for the final two seasons.

Filming for the 10th season of “Queer Eye” kicked off in Washington, D.C., following the show’s ninth season set in Las Vegas. The upcoming season will pay tribute to the show’s impact and legacy by highlighting individuals from the nation’s capital.

“Queer Eye” holds the title of being Netflix’s longest-running unscripted series, boasting 11 Emmy wins and 37 nominations. The show has made history with six consecutive wins in the outstanding structured reality program category, solidifying its place in the television industry.

The executive producers of “Queer Eye” include David Collins, Michael Williams, and Rob Eric from Scout Productions, with Jennifer Lane serving as the showrunner. Additionally, Jordana Hochman, Mark Bracero, and Lyndsey Burr are executive producers for ITV Entertainment. The Fab Five members also have a hand in the production as executive producers.
