All Blacks forwards coach Jason Ryan has suggested potential changes to the team for the final test against France on Saturday. Head coach Scott Robertson had initially planned to utilize all 33 players in the squad, and with injuries mounting, this may become a reality sooner than expected.

“It’s an opportunity to give some players a chance who haven’t featured yet. The experienced players have set the platform for the team, and now it’s time to see what others can bring to the table,” said Ryan during a rainy training session in Hamilton.

The expected changes could give the team a strong Chiefs influence, fitting for the Hamilton game. Players like Brodie McAlister, Anton Lienert-Brown, and Luke Jacobson are likely to get their chance. Additionally, Quinn Tupaea and Damian McKenzie might also be in line for a return to the starting lineup.

Newcomer Naitoa Ah Kuoi could make his test debut due to injuries in the locking department. Emoni Narawa, who impressed in the previous test, may also retain his spot. Halfback Noah Hotham and prop George Bower are other players yet to feature in the series.

Sevu Reece, who had an early exit in his first test, is expected to start this weekend. With Caleb Clarke sidelined, Reece’s role becomes even more crucial. The All Blacks are gearing up for a tough match against an unpredictable French side.

The test at FMG Stadium Waikato is already sold out, continuing a streak of packed stadiums. Following this test, the All Blacks will shift their focus to The Rugby Championship, where they will face Argentina in their opening matches.
