Donald Trump seems to be on a mission to erase Jeffrey Epstein from the minds of his supporters. Yet, as the days roll on, more prominent figures are publicly advocating for Trump to disclose all information related to the Epstein case, including the infamous client list.

The latest high-profile Republican to diverge from Trump’s narrative is none other than Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.

When asked on Tuesday whether Trump should release all information regarding Epstein, Speaker Johnson responded:

“I haven’t spoken to Marjorie (Taylor Greene) or Anna (Pulina Luna) about that specific issue, but I believe in transparency; we should be intellectually consistent on this matter.”

“Reagan used to say that we should trust the American people, and I hold that principle dear. I believe President Trump shares this view, and I trust him. He has assembled a capable team, and they are handling a sensitive subject. However, we should lay everything out in the open and allow the public to draw their own conclusions.”

“The White House team has access to information that I don’t possess. This is outside my usual purview, but I concur with the idea that we need to make the facts available.”

Johnson’s comments were tepid compared to those of Rep. Lauren Boebert, who has been more vocal in calling for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the Epstein documents.
