Indiana Mom Accused of Attempted Child Sex Trafficking
A shocking case has emerged in Indiana, where a 32-year-old mother of seven stands accused of attempting to sell her infant daughter for sex. Morgan Stapp allegedly used Snapchat to arrange the heinous act, offering her 7-month-old daughter to a man for $400.
According to People.com, Stapp sent a message to a man on Nov. 1, 2024, detailing the disturbing proposition. The message, which was intercepted by Snapchat and shared with FBI agents, indicated that the man could rape the baby girl for $400, with half of the payment upfront and the rest after the act.
When authorities apprehended Stapp at her Indianapolis residence, she reportedly denied ever using Snapchat. However, detectives obtained a warrant for her Snapchat account and discovered a series of incriminating messages sent between Oct. 29 and Nov. 1. In addition to the attempted child sex trafficking scheme, Stapp had also offered to sell nude photos of herself in exchange for money to buy baby diapers.
Stapp was arrested on July 8 and is facing charges of attempt to commit child sex trafficking. She is currently being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on September 15.
