Republican Maud Maron, who is running against Bragg for Manhattan DA, criticized his acceptance of gifts from organizations doing business with the city.
Bragg’s spokesperson defended his actions, stating that he fully disclosed his attendance at events for victims of domestic violence, the National Action Network, the NYC Police Foundation, and other relevant organizations. The spokesperson dismissed the criticism as a smear campaign to undermine Bragg’s commitment to keeping Manhattan safe.
