Authorities in Chicago have issued a warning to Red Line passengers following a series of cell phone thefts at the 35th Street station last month. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) released a community alert on Monday, urging commuters to stay vigilant.

According to the CPD alert, two suspects targeted passengers on the platform at Sox-35th, with incidents occurring on June 24 and June 25. In both cases, the thieves allegedly snatched phones directly from victims’ hands while they were waiting for their trains. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either incident.

The suspects are described as two Black males, with one wearing a dark Chicago Bulls hoodie and blue jeans, and the other wearing a black knit hat with a white T-shirt. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals involved.
