Kelly Clarkson Calls Out Beyoncé for Being “Artificial” and “Fake”
In a recent rant, Kelly Clarkson took aim at Beyoncé, criticizing the singer for what she perceives as a lack of authenticity. Clarkson compared Beyoncé to actress Sydney Sweeney, stating that while Sweeney’s ad felt genuine, Beyoncé’s image appears manufactured.
Clarkson didn’t hold back, declaring, “Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyoncé. Everything — from her image to her fame to her success to her look — is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard.”
This isn’t the first time Clarkson has expressed her disapproval of Beyoncé. In the past, she criticized the singer for dabbling in country music during her Cowboy Carter tour. Beyoncé included a blurred-out snippet of Clarkson criticizing her for “sticking her big toe” into the genre.
Clarkson, 54, didn’t mince words, stating, “Beyoncé, who’s on some world tour right now, reinventing herself as a country star, is running videotape during the show of yours truly.” She accused Beyoncé of “playing the victim” by incorporating the footage into her tour’s visual presentation.
