A 28-year-old man named Roland Beainy, who opened a Donald Trump-themed burger joint in Texas, is currently facing investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for potential immigration fraud. Beainy, originally from Lebanon, arrived in the United States on a “non-immigrant visa” in 2019 with a departure date of February 2024. However, he is now accused of attempting to deceive the system by entering into a fraudulent marriage in an effort to remain in the country. Additionally, Beainy has been accused of having a history of illegal marriages and an assault charge.

Despite denying the allegations and stating that most of the claims against him are false, Beainy was arrested by U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement on May 16. He was granted bond in June, but the ongoing immigration proceedings could still result in his deportation.

This news comes at a time when the Trump administration is intensifying its immigration enforcement efforts. ICE recently announced plans to eliminate age restrictions for new recruits as part of a hiring surge funded by Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Beainy’s immigration case serves as another example of the administration’s aggressive approach to immigration enforcement.
