Vice President JD Vance Calls for Indictments Over Russiagate

Vice President JD Vance stated in an interview that there are individuals who are likely to face indictments regarding the Obama administration’s actions related to Russiagate.

Vance did not reveal specific names but referred to recent disclosures made by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard as solid evidence of a “blatant violation of the law” in the Russiagate scandal.

“I absolutely believe that they violated the law. And you will see many individuals being indicted for that,” Vance emphasized.

Last month, Gabbard began releasing documents exposing the Obama administration’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Among the revelations was a House Intelligence Committee report that found insufficient evidence of Russian favoritism towards President Trump in 2016.

Gabbard also disclosed information indicating that top intelligence officials had evidence that Russia did not manipulate 2016 voting systems to alter the election outcome.

Following Gabbard’s revelations, the Justice Department formed a “strike force” to examine any potential criminal violations. In addition, a grand jury was convened to investigate Obama administration officials.

Vance accused the Obama-era intelligence community of distorting intelligence to align with Hillary Clinton’s campaign messaging, leading to a bogging down of President Trump during his first term.

Former CIA director John Brennan and former DNI James Clapper have refuted Gabbard’s claims, citing a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report from 2020 that found no politically motivated pressure on analysts to reach specific conclusions.

Clapper and Brennan maintained that the 2017 Intelligence Community report did not suggest collusion between Trump and Russia but asserted that the Kremlin favored Trump in the 2016 election.

In response to Gabbard’s allegations, a spokesperson for former President Barack Obama dismissed them as “ridiculous” and a “weak attempt at distraction.”
