Jeffrey Epstein’s former butler of 18 years, Valdson Vieira Cotrin, has broken his silence about the events leading up to the financier’s death in August 2019. Cotrin revealed that Epstein had been in good spirits and confident about securing bail before his untimely demise. Contradicting the official ruling of suicide, Cotrin insisted that Epstein “loved life too much” to take his own life.

In a shocking revelation, Cotrin claimed that Epstein had once been offered a position in Donald Trump’s first administration in 2016 but turned it down. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this claim, and Trump has stated that he cut ties with Epstein in 2004. Cotrin also shared photographs with Epstein’s associates, including a picture with former President Bill Clinton aboard Epstein’s private plane, the “Lolita Express”. Clinton has recently been subpoenaed to testify before a congressional committee investigating Epstein.

Cotrin recalled driving Epstein to the airport in Paris on July 6, 2019, where he was arrested on charges of sex trafficking underage girls. Despite his arrest, Epstein remained optimistic about negotiating bail and had plans to invest in his islands and spend more time in Paris. However, Epstein was found hanged in his Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019, at the age of 66.

Maria Gomes de Melo, Cotrin’s partner who also knew Epstein well, echoed his sentiments, stating that Epstein “loved life too much” to have committed suicide. Both Cotrin and Melo rejected the official account of Epstein’s death and questioned the circumstances surrounding it.

Epstein’s brother, Mark, has also raised doubts about the suicide ruling and commissioned a second autopsy that suggested the possibility of homicide. The U.S. Department of Justice has released surveillance footage from outside Epstein’s cell, but a crucial minute of footage is missing, sparking further speculation about foul play.

The revelations from Epstein’s former butler shed new light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death and add to the ongoing controversy and speculation surrounding the case. As calls for the release of the “Epstein files” grow louder, the truth behind Epstein’s demise remains elusive.
