The tragic death of influencer Emilie Kiser and husband Brady Kiser’s 3-year-old son, Trigg, has continued to unravel with new details emerging. Trigg was discovered unconscious in the family’s backyard pool in Arizona on May 12, 2025, while his father Brady and older brother Teddy were at home. Despite the efforts of police officers and firefighters to revive him, Trigg was flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where he tragically passed away.

The incident unfolded on May 12 when Brady was reportedly at home, taking care of the couple’s two sons while watching an NBA playoff game. A redacted police report revealed that Brady had placed a bet on the game, dividing his attention. Trigg had wandered outside and accidentally fallen into the pool while playing with an inflatable chair. The report indicated that Trigg was unsupervised in the backyard for more than nine minutes, with seven of those minutes spent in the water. Brady discovered Trigg floating in the pool, prompting him to call 911.

On May 18, Trigg succumbed to his injuries, with the Chandler, Arizona, Police Department confirming the tragic news. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remained ongoing, with no further details released out of respect for the family’s privacy.

Emilie later filed a lawsuit seeking to block the release of records related to Trigg’s death, citing the devastating loss and the need for privacy to grieve. She also requested temporary confidentiality until a determination balancing the public’s need for information with privacy interests could be made.

In July, investigators recommended charging Brady with child abuse, a Class 4 felony. However, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office ultimately decided against pursuing charges after reviewing surveillance footage of the incident. Brady’s attorney expressed gratitude for the thorough investigation and confirmed that the tragedy was deemed an accident. Brady continues to grieve alongside his family as they heal from the heartbreaking loss.

Emilie’s efforts to shield sensitive documents from public view underscore the family’s struggle to cope with the loss of their beloved son. As they navigate this difficult time, they rely on the support and compassion of those around them to find solace and healing. Emilie recently made headlines for her efforts to redact certain documents related to a tragic incident involving her son, Trigg. She believed that the redacted information contained disturbing content, including reenactments with artificial intelligence. Emilie’s lawyer, Matthew Kelley, argued that the redacted section of the report was crucial for the public to understand the investigation of Trigg’s drowning and the decisions made by the police department and county attorney.

After a legal battle, Emilie was successful in redacting pages of the police report. On August 8, the report was released, providing insight into the events leading up to Trigg’s tragic accident. Emilie’s attorney, Shannon Clark, expressed gratitude to Judge Whitten for allowing the redaction of two pages detailing the graphic final moments of Trigg’s life. This decision was made to protect Trigg’s dignity and allow the family to grieve privately.

The statement from Emilie’s attorney emphasized that the redactions did not alter any material facts of the accident but aimed to preserve Trigg’s memory as a loving and joyful boy. The family wanted to focus on celebrating the beautiful life Trigg lived, rather than the tragic way it ended.

In the midst of this heartbreaking story, it’s important to remember the significance of pool safety. Bode Miller’s tips and resources from Coverstar’s website can provide valuable information on preventing accidents and promoting water safety awareness.
